No stranger to change and transformation herself, Gina is the lead author of "Best Practices for Managing Business Process Improvement Initiatives: Six Simple Steps" (J Ross Publishing, 2015) and the author of "Implementing Positive Organizational Change: A Strategic Project Management Approach" (J Ross Publishing, 2017). Her expertise is your guiding star in the turbulent sea of change.
Gina also serves as a resource for Oriel Stat-a-Matrix. In her consulting role as VP, Program Management, Gina works with Oriel to lead large, global complex projects for their clients from a program management, project management and change management perspective.
She is an adjunct professor at Clark University, teaching in their executive MBA program.
Gina Abudi has worked on a variety of organizational and
transformational change projects with medium to large, global organizations. Four
examples of such projects include: (1) Working with a global pharma company on
a transformational change initiative launched due to a merger and acquisition.
This work included working closely with senior leaders to frame a vision for
the change that resonated with individual contributors throughout the
organization and facilitating a variety of focus groups to engage employees in
changes happening; (2) Providing training programs on leading and supporting
change to a global retail organization with a focus on helping leaders through
to individual contributors manage through a variety of changes happening in the
organization; (3) working with a health
and wellness small business, to provide change management support to enable for
moving to a more structured organization, including assisting in development
and getting buy-in for updated processes, procedures and best practices. This
support primarily entailed engaging 150 employees in the change initiative,
structuring the change project and developing metrics to measure success; and
(4) collaborating with a manufacturing company’s internal project/OCM team to
improve communications within the organization to better engage employees in
changes happening and ensure that messages were trickling down from leaders and
delivered to employees with a focus on why it matters for them. This work also
included developing a framework and templates for the team to continue to
manage through changes as the company grows.
