Netopski is the founder and owner of Critical Prism Defense LLC, a Veteran
Owned Small Business (VOSB) cybersecurity consultancy. Before that, Paul served in various cybersecurity
and information technology roles in the space and defense industry combining to
over 24 years of experience. He
specialized in bringing multiple disciplines of IT and cybersecurity under a
single umbrella to provide synchronous full lifecycle management of services
for engineering and product development teams, from concept and design all the
way through decommissioning. Paul served
in the United States Navy for 6 years as an electronics technician with duties
overlapping information technology and cybersecurity. Paul holds several certifications (CISSP,
C|CISO, C|EH, ITILv3) and participates in professional organizations including
general business (ABA), national defense (NDIA), cybersecurity (ISSA, (ISC)2 [including local chapters]) and supply chain (CSCMP, APICS/ASCM). He has a BS degree in Information Technology
with a specialization in Information Assurance and Security from Capella
University.

currently resides in Ashland, MA where he enjoys self-education, philanthropy,
outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Project plans and strategies for improvement of cybersecurity posture.
Supply Chain Risk Management plans and strategies for electrical components, information sharing and software procurement and use.
Created a new business unit in the Information Services organization, the IS Embedded Systems group, and grew the business to span across over 100 active projects and 7 locations. Created and deployed a service catalog with a ticketing system. Developed maintenance schedules and phased replacement schedules. Managed individual budgets and schedules for each project. Created IT road maps to introduce new services and capabilities for engineering and development. Provided briefings to senior leadership to spearhead an IT transformation project to consolidate infrastructures and leverage Hyper-Converged Infrastructures to provide an Agile IT platform for projects. Created security plans for projects following the Risk Management Framework. Implemented IT and IA standards for secure deployment and management of project networks.
